The Minister of Transport and Logistic Services,
based on the powers entrusted to him by law,
after perusal of the Law on Public Transport on Roads of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued by Royal Decree D/25 dated 21 Jumada Al-Thani 1397 [7 June 1977],
after perusal of the System of Transport General Authority issued by Council of Ministers Decision 323 dated 14 Rabi Al-Thani 1434 [25 February 2013] and its amendments,
after perusal of the Regulation Governing the Activity of Light Vehicle Transport on Roads issued by Decision 1693 of the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services dated 3 Dhu Al-Hijja 1442 [13 July 2021],
and after perusal of Board of Directors of the Transport General Authority Decision 7/1/2024/4 dated 19 Dhu Al-Hijja 1445 [26 June 2024],
hereby decides
First
Article 22 of the Regulations Governing the Activity of Light Vehicle Transport on Roads is hereby amended to read as follows:
“Any party with interest has the right, within 60 days of the date of notifying the violator of the violation, to object before the authority, and it has the right to file a grievance against the decision of the authority before the Administrative Court within 60 days from the date of the notification of the decision.”
Second
This amendment enters into force and becomes effective from the date of its publication in the official gazette.
Third
This decision repeals all previous decisions in conflict with it.
Fourth
The President of the General Authority for Transport shall take the necessary measures to implement the decision.
