The Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Transport General Authority,
based on the powers entrusted to him by law,
after perusal of the Commercial Maritime Law issued by Royal Decree D/33 dated 5 Rabi Al-Thani 1440 [14 December 2018],
after perusal of the Transport General Authority System issued by Council of Ministers Decision 323 dated 14 Ramadan 1434 [22 July 2013] and its amendments,
and after perusal of Board of Directors of the Transport General Authority Decision 3/9/2023/3 dated 5 Rabi Al-Awwal 1445 [20 September 2023],
hereby decides
First
The Regulation on the Conditions for Delegating to Classification Authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is hereby adopted in accordance with the form attached.
Second
The President of the General Authority for Transport is hereby delegated to approve the appropriate mechanisms to implement the provisions of this regulation and issue the necessary decisions and circulars.
Third
This regulation comes into force on the date of its publication in the official gazette.
Fourth
The President of the General Authority for Transport shall take the necessary measures to implement the decision.
