The Minister of Tourism,
based on the powers entrusted to him by law,
and perusal of the Tourism Law issued by Royal Decree D/18 of 26 Muharram 1444 [24 August 2022],
based on article 20 of the regulation of the committee for the consideration of violations of the Tourism Law and its regulations, issued by Ministerial Decision 2297 dated 19 Jumada Al-Awwal 1444 [13 December 2022], which stipulates that “the committee shall apply the rules and procedures for rehabilitation and payment of compensation for damage resulting from the violation, approved by the m minister or his authorized representative.”,
and in pursuance of public interest,
The Rules Governing Rehabilitation, Payment of Compensation for Damage, and Refund of Amounts to Their Owners are hereby approved in accordance with the Tourism Law and its regulations, in accordance with the form attached to this decision.
The committee for the consideration of violations of the Tourism Law and its regulations shall—in accordance with its competences—apply these rules when considering the obligation of the violator to rehabilitate and remove the violation or its impact, pay compensation for damage, or return the amounts obtained by the violator to the victim, in accordance with the provisions of the law and its regulations, taking into account the relevant laws, regulations, and decisions.
The rules must be published in the official gazette, and come into force from the date of their publication.
This decision must be communicated to those who are required to implement it and act on it.

The Minister of Tourism,
based on the powers entrusted to him by law,
after perusal of article 5 of the Tourism Law issued by Royal Decree D/2 dated 9 Muharram 1436 [2 November 2014], which stipulates: “Whoever wishes to enter the Kingdom for the purpose of tourism must have a valid tourist visa unless his entry does not require obtaining that visa. The ministry shall issue tourist visa permits in accordance with controls agreed upon between the ministry and the ministries of Interior and foreign affairs. The regulation must clarify the procedures and mechanisms for issuing tourist visa permits.”
based on Minister of Interior Letter 108191 dated 1 Jumada Al-Awwal 1443 [6 December 2021] and Letter 250624 dated 16 Shawwal 1443 [18 May 2022], and Minister of Foreign Affairs Letter 001-43-02368 dated 24 Rabi Al-Thani 1443 [30 November 2021]and Letter 001-43-235594 dated 27 Ramadan 1443 [29 April 2022].
and after perusal of our Decision 3/T/41 dated 24 Muharram 1441 [24 September 2019], Approving the Tourist Visa Regulation for the Purpose of Tourism,
and in pursuance of public interest,
The Amendment to the Tourist Visa Regulation for the Purpose of Tourism is hereby approved in accordance with the form attached.
This decision and the regulation attached to it must be published in the official gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.
This decision repeals all decisions in conflict with it.
Our decision must be communicated to those who are required to implement it.
