Ministry of Finance: Decision 38759 Cancelling the Application of the Ministerial Decision That Contains Repealing the Banderol Stamps Exchange Law and Sufficing with the Value of These Stamps in Cash

The Minister of Finance,

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority,

based on the powers entrusted to him by law,

based on the Unified Customs Law issued by Royal Decree D/41 dated 3 Dhu Al-Qa’dah 1423,

after perusal of the (former) Saudi Customs Law issued by Royal Decree 425 dated 5 Rabi Al-Awwal 1372,

and after perusal of the submission of His Excellency the Governor of the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority in Memorandum 26362 dated 16 Jumada Al-Thani 1444,

and in pursuance of public interest,

hereby decides

First: The application of Ministerial Decision L/7524-4-11086 dated 12 Jumada Al-Thani 1395 is hereby cancelled, which contains the Law Repealing the Banderol Stamps Exchange and Sufficing with the Value of These Stamps in Cash on the Import Statement.

Second: This decision must be communicated to those who are required to implement it, as of 22 Rajab 1444.

Ministry of Finance: Decision 939 Amending certain provisions of the executive regulations of the Unified Customs Law

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority

based on the powers entrusted to him by law,

based on Royal Decree D/14 dated 25 Muharram 1443 [2 September 2021], issued to ratify Council of Ministers Decision 70 dated 23 Muharram 1443 [31 August 2021], approving the amendment of the Common Customs Law of the States of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf approved by Royal Decree D/41 dated 3 Dhu Al-Qa’dah 1423 [6 January 2003], and based on Clause Second of Council of Ministers Decision 241 dated 26 Shawwal 1423 [30 December 2002], stipulating that the Minister of Finance (and National Economy) shall issue the executive regulation of the law,

and after perusal of the minutes of the 113th meeting of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee held via videoconference on Wednesday 9 Ramadan 1442 [21 April 2021], and Ministerial Decision 2748 dated 25 Dhu Al-Qa’dah 1423 [28 January 2003] Approving the Executive Regulation of the Common Customs Law,

hereby decides

First

The articles of the Executive Regulations of the Common Customs Law approved by the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee at its 113th meeting are herby amended in their final form (attachment 1).

Second

This decision must be published in the official gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication, and it must be communicated to whoever is required to implement it.
