The Council of Ministers,
after perusal of its session held under the chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Royal Court Transaction 8649 dated 5 Safar 1444 [2 September 2022], which includes the Minister of Tourism, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for Activities and Events Telegram 728 on the sidelines of the Qatar 2022 event, dated 1 Jumada Al-Awwal 1444 [29 August 2022], regarding the state bearing the costs of electronic services that are obtained in return for the issuance of an entry visa to the Kingdom for the holders of the fan card “Hayya” for the Qatar 2022 World Cup event,

after perusal of Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers Memorandum 720 dated 3 Rabi Al-Awwal 1444 [29 September 2022].

Approving that the State bears the costs of electronic services—related to the e-visa services platform at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs—that are obtained in return for the issuance of an entry visa to the Kingdom for the holders of the fan card “Hayya” for the World Cup Qatar 2022, issued in this regard by Royal Orders 2581 and 2582 dated 10 Muharram 1444 [8 August 2022],

after perusal of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs Minutes (984/43/M) dated 5 Dhu Al-Hijja 1443 [5 June 2022],
after perusal of Council of Political and Security Affairs Minutes (MST/55-43/11) dated 16 Dhu Al-Qa’dah 1443 [15 June 2022],
after considering Shura Council Decisions 341/48 dated 20 Dhu Al-Hijja 1443 and 362/50 dated 23 Safar 1444 [19 September 2022],
and after perusal of the General Committee of the Council of Ministers Recommendation 1995 dated 29 Safar 1444 [25 September 2022],
The Law of the Use of Security Surveillance Cameras is hereby approved in the form attached.
The Ministry of Interior—jointly with the Presidency of State Security, the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence, and other relevant entities—shall set a timetable to specify the deadlines for requiring each category covered by the provisions of the law—referred to in clause First of this decision—to install cameras and security surveillance devices and to comply with the provisions of the law.
A draft royal decree has been prepared in the form attached.
