The Council of Ministers,
after perusal of its session held under the chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Royal Court Transaction 37125 dated 25 Jumada Al-Awwal 1444 [19 December 2022], which includes the Minister of Investment Telegram 1430 dated 8 Rabi Al-Awwal 1444 [4 October 2022], regarding a draft Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the Republic of Senegal for Cooperation in the Field of Promoting Direct Investment,
after perusal of the aforementioned draft memorandum,
after perusal of Council of Ministers Decision 119 dated 21 Safar 1443 [29 September 2021],
after perusal of the Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers Memorandum 1213 dated 19 Rabi Al-Thani 1444 [14 November 2022],
after considering Shura Council Decision 86/14 dated 19 Jumada Al-Awwal 1444, [13 December 2022]
and after perusal of the General Committee of the Council of Ministers Recommendation 6068 dated 11 Jumada Al-Thani 1444 [4 January 2023],
hereby decides
First
The Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Senegal and the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia concerning Cooperation of Promotion of Direct Investment signed in the city of Dakar on 1 Rabi Al-Awwal 1444, corresponding to 27 September 2022, is hereby approved in the form attached.
A draft royal decree has been prepared in the form attached.

after perusal of the Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers Memorandum 1903 dated 23 Jumada Al-Thani 1444 [16 January 2023],
after perusal of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs Minutes 44/833/M dated 29 Jumada Al-Thani 1444 [22 January 2023],
and after perusal of the General Committee of the Council of Ministers Recommendation 7038 dated 7 Rajab 1444 [29 January 2023],
hereby decides
First
The year 2023 is hereby named the “Year of Arabic Poetry (2023)“.
Second
The initiative of the “Year of Arabic Poetry (2023)” is hereby approved in accordance with the presentation attached to this decision, provided that this does not entail any additional burdens on the general budget of the state.
Third
The relevant entities shall carry out the initiative of the “Year of Arabic Poetry (2023)“, in cooperation and interaction with the initiative, and revitalise it with events and initiatives directed at all members of society.
