The Board of Directors of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority,
after perusal of article 36(Second) of the Food Law, which stipulates: “The authority shall impose punishments in accordance with the classification of violations and the determination of punishments approved by the board,”
after perusal of Council of Ministers Decision 102 dated 4 Safar 1447 [29 July 2025], which directs the board of directors of the authority, in coordination with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, to take the necessary steps—within the scope of its legal mandates—to issue a dedicated schedule classifying violations and specifying the penalties associated with cases of food poisoning, based on the provisions of article 36(Second) of the Food Law,
after perusal of executive committee Decision 6/TH/32 dated 25 Jumada Al-Awwal 1447 [16 November 2025], recommending that a schedule of penalties for food poisoning incidents be submitted to the board of directors in accordance with the Food Law and its executive regulation,
and after perusal of the Schedule of Penalties for Food Poisoning Incidents in Accordance with the Food Law and Its Executive Regulation,
hereby decides
4․1 The Schedule of Penalties for Food Poisoning Incidents in accordance with the Food Law and its Executive Regulation is hereby adopted. It comes into force on the date of its publication.
