The Minister of Interior, based on the powers entrusted to him by law,
after perusal of Royal Decree D/88 dated 11 Jumada Al-Awwal 1444 [4 January 2023], Amending Article 8 of the Saudi Arabian Nationality Law, which stipulates: “It is permitted to grant Saudi Arabian nationality by order of the Prime Minister based on the proposal of the Minister of Interior” and article 27 of the Saudi Arabian Nationality Law, which stipulates: “The Minister of Interior shall issue the executive regulation of this law”.
hereby decides

Article 28 of the Executive Regulation of the Saudi Arabian Nationality Law, which stipulates: “The Minister of Interior shall issue the necessary decisions to grant nationality by virtue of article 8 of the law”, is hereby deleted.
Second
This decision comes into force on the date of its publication in the official gazette.
Third
This decision must be communicated to those who are required to adopt it and act upon it.

based on the powers entrusted to him by law,
after perusal of the Traffic Law issued by Royal Decree D/85 dated 26 Shawwal 1428 [7 November 2007] and its amendments,
after perusal of the Executive Regulation of the Traffic Law issued by Ministerial Decision 2249 dated 10 Rabi Al-Awwal 1441 [7 November 2019] and its amendments, and in pursuance of public interest,
hereby decides
First
Article 7.1.3.2 of the Executive Regulation of the Traffic Law is hereby amended to read as follows:
“It is required for the issuance of diplomatic or consular plates that the vehicle be owned by those missions or one of their employees according to a letter of approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.”
Second
This decision must be communicated to the relevant entities, to implement it, each within their area of competence.
Third
This decision comes into force on the date of its publication in the official gazette.
