The Chief Executive Officer of the National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases,
based on the powers granted to him by law,
after perusal of article 5 of the Agricultural Quarantine Law of the States of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf amended by Royal Order D/3 dated 17 Muharram 1438 [18 October 2016], and based on clause Fifth(1) of the coordination minutes signed between the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture and the National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases,
and in pursuance of the interest of work,
hereby decides
First
The Lists of Quarantine Pests and Non-Quarantine Pests Subject to the Updated Regulations are hereby approved in the attached form as an annex to the Executive Regulation in the Kingdom of the Agricultural Quarantine Law of the States of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.
Second
This decision comes into force on the date of its publication in the official gazette, it must be communicated to those who are required to adopt and enforce it, and it replaces the current lists of quarantine pests and non-quarantine pests.
