The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources,
based on the powers entrusted to him by law,
after perusal of article 10 of the Mining Investment Law issued by Royal Decree D/140 dated 19 Shawwal 1441 [11 June 2020], and pursuant to the provisions of article 12 of the executive regulation of the law issued by Ministerial Decision 3293/1/1444 dated 5 Jumada Al-Thani 1444 [29 December 2022],
after obtaining the approvals of the relevant authorities regarding the designation of the Sand Aggregate Deposit Site— north of Shaqeeqa—in Bisha Governorate of Asir Region,
and after reviewing the offer of the Vice Minister of Mining Affairs,
and in pursuance of public interest,
hereby decides
First
Designating the Sand Aggregate Deposit Site—north of Shaqeeqa—in Bisha Governorate of Asir Region with an Area of 13.36 Kilometers squared, whose coordinates are shown below as a mining deposit for mining activities:

Second
Subject to the provisions of article 2 of the law, and without prejudice to the rights of any fixed private property by a legal document issued before the date of this decision, the site—the coordinates of which are set forth in paragraph 1 of this decision—must be protected and preserved for the infringements of others and not to prejudice, cause or possess it, and it is not permitted to dispose of it in any way, including seizure.
Third
The competent entity in the ministry shall follow up on the site to ensure that it is not infringed upon.
Fourth
This decision must be communicated to those required to implement its provisions, and must be published on the electronic platforms of the ministry and the official gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
