after perusal of the Law on Combating Terrorism Crimes and Their Financing issued by Royal Decree D/21 dated 12 Safar 1439 [2 November 2017],
after perusal of the Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers Memorandum 2317 dated 16 Shawwal 1443 [17 May 2022],
after perusal of Council of Economic and Development Affairs Recommendation 15-49/43/I dated 13 Dhu Al-Qa’da 1443 [12 June 2022],
after considering Shura Council Decision 299/45 dated 28 Dhu Al-Qa’dah 1443 [27 June 2022].
and after perusal of General Committee of the Council of Ministers Recommendation 11428 dated 27 Dhu Al-Hijja 1443 [27 July 2022],
hereby decides
First
The phrase “The supervisory entity shall inform the General Directorate of Financial Investigation of the action or penalty it takes” is hereby added to the end of article 83 of the Law on Combatting Terrorism Crimes and Their Financing issued by Royal Decree D/21 dated 12 Safar 1439 [1 November 2017].
A draft royal decree has been prepared in the form attached.
