after perusal of Royal Court File 8926 dated 1 Safar 1447 [26 July 2025], which includes the Minister of Culture Telegram 595 dated 26 Muharram 1447 [21 July 2025], regarding the draft Organizational Arrangements of the Royal Institute for Anthropology and Cultural Studies,
after perusal of the aforementioned draft Organizational Arrangements,
after perusal of the National Framework for Fees and Financial Considerations issued by Council of Ministers Decision 611 dated 22 Sha’ban 1447 [10 February 2026],
after perusal of Council of Ministers Decision 715 dated 21 Ramadan 1447 [10 March 2026],
after perusal of Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers Memo 4220 dated 18 Dhu Al-Hijja 1447 [4 June 2026] and Memo 1208 dated 30 Rabi Al-Thani 1448 [11 October 2026],
after perusal of Council of Economic and Development Affairs Recommendation 3-2/48/R dated 16 Safar 1448 [30 July 2026],
and after perusal of General Committee of the Council of Ministers Recommendation 4571 dated 2 Jumada Al-Awwal 1448 [13 October 2026],
hereby decides
First
The Organizational Arrangements of the Royal Institute for Anthropology and Cultural Studies are hereby approved in the form attached.
Second
The Board of Trustees of the Royal Institute for Anthropology and Cultural Studies, in accordance with the National Framework for Fees and Financial Considerations issued by Council of Ministers Decision 611 dated 22 Sha’ban 1447 [10 February 2026], exercises the competence set forth in clause Sixth(7) of the Organizational Arrangements referred to in clause First of this decision.
Third
The Board of Trustees of the Royal Institute for Anthropology and Cultural Studies, in agreement with the Ministry of Finance, approves the controls referred to in clause Fourth(4) and clause Sixth(4) of the Organizational Arrangements referred to in clause First of this decision.
Fourth
As an exception to the provision in clause Fourteenth(2) of the Organizational Arrangements referred to in clause First of this decision, the first fiscal year of the Royal Institute for Anthropology and Cultural Studies begins from the date of entry into force of its arrangements, and it ends at the end of the next fiscal year.
Fifth
The budgets of the Royal Institute for Anthropology and Cultural Studies are within the approved ceilings of the Ministry of Culture.
Sixth
The Board of Trustees of the Royal Institute for Anthropology and Cultural Studies shall prepare a draft statute for the institute in light of the provisions of the Organizational Arrangements referred to in clause First of this decision and in light of any matters that may arise for it in this regard, and shall submit it within a period not exceeding 24 months from the date of approval of those arrangements.
