The Council of Ministers,
after perusal of Royal Court File 34473 dated 19 Rabi Al-Thani 1448 [30 September 2026] regarding the noble directive to complete the necessary legal procedures for His Royal Highness the Minister of Defense to become the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Defense Development and for Dr Musad bin Mohammed Al-Aiban to become the vice chairman,
after perusal of the Statute of the General Authority for Defense Development issued by Council of Ministers Decision 275 dated 2 Rabi Al-Thani 1445 [17 October 2023],
after perusal of Council of Ministers Decision 467 dated 10 Rajab 1447 [30 December 2025],
after perusal of Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers Memo 1162 dated 23 Rabi Al-Thani 1448 [4 October 2026],
and after perusal of General Committee of the Council of Ministers Recommendation 4455 dated 27 Rabi Al-Thani 1448 [8 October 2026],
hereby decides
Article 6 of the Statute of the General Authority for Defense Development issued by Council of Ministers Decision 275 dated 2 Rabi Al-Thani 1445 [17 October 2023] is hereby amended as follows:
1. Adding the phrase “and the vice chairman” after the phrase “The authority must have a board of directors, the chairman of which is appointed” at the beginning of the article.
2. Deleting paragraph 1 of the article, added by virtue of clause Second of Council of Ministers Decision 467 dated 10 Rajab 1447 [30 December 2025].
